While Feet Foxes' sold out performance at the 7th Street Entry was packed to the gills, it was every bit as intimate and hair raising as their previous show at the Entry back in April opening for Blitzen Trapper. In the almost four months that have passed since that show, the band has seen their stock increase tenfold due to the overwhelming response to their self-titled Sup Pop debut album. Lead singer Robin Pecknold had been battling illness the last few weeks, but it wasn't apparent at all in his voice on Sunday. The other band members are no slouches either, with their spine-tingling four part harmonies that harken back to Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young. You can expect Fleet Foxes to return at a much larger venue next time around (this fall hopefully?), but I have faith their incredible harmonies and gorgeous melodies will be every bit as haunting as they are in a tiny club.
