The Grievous Angel himself

Amoeba Music, the Bay Area-based record store, is launching its record label, Amoeba Records, with two downloads from their first two releases. Of particular interest is a Gram Parsons track from Gram Parsons Archives Vol. 1: The Flying Burrito Brothers "Live" at the Avalon 1969, which is being released on October 30. The track is "Long Black Limousine" and you can stream it here:

The other release is Brandi Shearer's Close to Dark, which comes out August 28. A touch of Norah Jones to her. Here's that stream:
