We can write about our favorite local bands all we want, but what about what's actually selling on the local level? The Electric Fetus Onestop, which distributes local CDs to independent record stores in the Midwest, has agreed to share their top ten local record sales figures each week with Reveille Magazine.

Here's the top local sellers for the week of November 12, 2007.

  1. Vicious Vicious, Parade
  2. Jim Walsh (book), The Replacements: All Over But the Shouting
  3. Kill the Vultures, Midnight Pine
  4. Romantica, America
  5. Diane Jarvi, Wild Gardens
  6. Alicia Wiley, Changes
  7. Suicide Commandos, Legendary KQRS Concert 1976
  8. Doug Maynard, Lost in the Blues
  9. Charlie Parr, Rooster
  10. Charlie Parr, Jubilee

The Electric Fetus Onestop is the distribution side of The Electric Fetus Record Store, conveniently located in the basement of Minneapolis Electric Fetus store on 2000 4th Ave. South in Minneapolis, MN.

The Electric Fetus One Stop provides CDs to other record stores at wholesale cost. "We have a huge emphasis on local music and aim to provide an outlet for local musicians/bands to consign their CDs or records to be available for distribution through the Onestop," says Onestop coordinator Mandy Anderson. "The Onestop's primary focus is local indie record stores and secondly national independent record stores. All a local musician would need to do to stock their product in the warehouse is e-mail me and set-up a time to come in."
