The concept is pretty simple: Honeydogs' singer Adam Levy writes a few lines inspired by "The Wizard of Oz" and then MPR tosses the gates open to the public to finish the song however they see fit. Although anyone can work up a song and submit it, three local acts—rapper P.O.S., singer/songwriter Jeremy Messersmith, and tongue-in-cheek indie poppers Best Friends Forever—have been tapped to work on this and be followed by All Things Considered as they work on their tracks for the next couple weeks. These updates will air on ATC from July 21 - 25, leading up to a live event at the UBS Center on Saturday, July 26 at 7 pm featuring the aforementioned artists. Tix are free, but you have to register online at mpr.org.

Details on tickets and more particulars of this awesome idea are right here.
