Minneapolis rap duo Big Quarters have just posted a new video for their track "August" (featuring Alicia Steele) up on YouTube. It's kind of like A-Ha's "Take on Me" mixed with Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" as executed by a dude with a Sharpie. The track's banging as well, which we've come to expect from Medium Zach, and it revolves loosely around the collapse of the 35W bridge last August. The song comes from their new record, Lake City Browns. Not sure when that's going to be released, but we'll keep you apprised. You can also download the track (along with clean and instrumental versions) at their website, bigquarters.blogspot.com. They also have a passel of tracks from their last disc for download, including "Lou Diamond," "Everyday," and "Song for Brown Babies." Big Quarters - "August" feat. Alicia Steele |
