The Bad Plus on Conan O'Brien |

 We might be down here at South by Southwest, but we were thrilled to hear that The Bad Plus are going to be making an apperance on Conan tomorrow night, Friday, March 14. That's quite a feather in the cap of both Mr. O'Brien and The Bad Plus, because I can't remember the last time I saw a jazz group on late night TV who weren't the house band. The other guests on the show are going to be Cheryl Hines and that guy Frakn Caliendo from that show "Frank TV." I'd like to see him and King square off in a steel cage match of impressions and comedy. Instead, The Bad Plus will probably just blow the minds of an unsuspecting America and Caliendo will continue to do what he does very badly (be himself and pimp his bland show) and not what he does well (straight-up stand-up).
