If you don't already have tickets for 'Eight is Enough' (that's eight years of the Bush administration), then what the hell are you waiting for? Not only does the lineup feature some of the flat-out best bands from Minnesota, including Low, Dosh, P.O.S., The STNNNG, Kill the Vultures, Skoal Kodiak, and members of Tapes n' Tapes, but it's going to happen on Wednesday, August 27 at the Turf Club, a venue way smaller than most of these groups would regularly play. It's got all that, plus it's a benefit for Barack Obama, whom Reveille is hereby formally endorsing for president. That's right, the cat's out of the bag, in a result far less surprising than whatever happened to that cat in Erwin Schrodinger's bag.
The way to get tickets is to donate a minimum of $20 per ticket to Obama's campaign right here. There are no paper tickets for the event; instead, just bring your ID to the show after you've contributed and your name will be checked off on a list of donors. And just think, for $1,000 a plate, other contributors are just getting dinner. You'll be getting so much more. |
