Smarter than most ten-year-olds
The venerated local music compilation Twin Town High is entering its tenth year now, and things are looking better than ever. I can't divulge any details yet, but suffice it to say there will be some new and exciting stuff about the comp this year. And Twin Town High needs your (and your band's) help to make this the best one yet. Here's the Call for Submissions, no doubt written by someone handsome:

It's time, once again, to start gathering submissions from bands for consideration for inclusion in this year's Twin Town High compilation. 2008 will mark the tenth edition of this most awesome of all local music compilations, and we'd be honored to have a submission from you to celebrate our ten-year anniversary. If you haven't seen the comp before, we gather together the best unreleased tracks from Twin Cities artists every year and release it with a big show. It's a blast.

Twin Town High X will be coming out sometime in late September/early October, and we'd like to get all submissions in before the end of June so we'll have plenty of time to make selections and master the disc. This year, TTH will be coming out on CopyCats' label, which means the CD will be available in stores all over the metro area.

As always, we're looking for unreleased tracks, or at the very least tracks that will stay unreleased through the end of the year. If you're planning a CD Release Show for next January and you want to bless us with a little something something in advance, that's great. You can submit the tracks as mp3s to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , but if you're picked for inclusion on the comp, we're eventually going to need to have a high resolution AIFF for mastering purposes. If you'd rather send a hard copy, you can mail it to:
